The course is very different than typical business basics courses. In addition to covering just the right amount of business fundamentals to launch with a minimum viable product or service\, the Ignitor creates a safe place for students to open up about personal challenges and fears about starting an enterprise. \nClasses will provide guidance on fundamental business practices and how to avoid common pitfalls.  The course covers a wide variety of topics and is perfect for people starting or currently running small businesses. In addition to the classes\, there will be mentorship\, coworking\, and networking opportunities. \nWhile building on the proven model of Ignitors past\, and continuing to leverage the efficiency – and necessity – of remote learning\, the Spring Forward Ignitor Course brings a couple of unique changes to the platform. Tuition is significantly lower. Attendees will be asked to participate on a sliding scale of $150 to $650. No one will be turned away due to a lack of funds. \nClass Sessions Include: \n\nThe Business Owner Mindset\nTools of the Trade\nThe Cost of Making Money\nBusiness Plans Suck (For Now)\n\nSix week course: Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 – 10:30 A.M\, via Zoom.  \n\nOptional Accountability Meetups Every Wednesday 12:00 -1:00 PM\n\nApril 13\, 2021 through May 20\, 2021 URL:https://www.startupmontereybay.com/event/sbdc-spring-forward-business-ignitor-course-to-foster-entrepreneurial-opportunity/ END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=America/Los_Angeles:20210413T113000 DTEND;TZID=America/Los_Angeles:20210413T123000 DTSTAMP:20240329T064034 CREATED:20210401T233608Z LAST-MODIFIED:20210401T233608Z UID:15746-1618313400-1618317000@www.startupmontereybay.com SUMMARY:SBDC Women's Leadership Coaching: Session 1\, A New Model For Success DESCRIPTION:There is no force more powerful than a woman determined to rise. – R.H.
