Post-election, there will be a lot of legislative work for Congress to complete in the remaining weeks of the 116th session. In addition to the unknowns of the current health pandemic and economic fallout, the outcome of the election on the White House and Congress will have a big impact on how and when there will be deals on another round of COVID-19 relief, tax extenders, and Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 appropriations. In the coming days, we will hopefully have a better idea of the legislative hurdles and what 2021 may bring with regards to the 117th Congress and White House priorities.
