The Winter Night Market featured a diverse array of local tri-county vendors and CSUMB small businesses, presenting an assortment of unique products and services. Attendees enjoyed handmade goods, prepackaged goods, and artisan crafts, all showcased in a festive holiday atmosphere. The event was enriched by live performances from the CSUMB Music Department and local musician Glenn Bell, as well as engaging crafting activities organized by Associated Students.

Seaside, CA — We are thrilled to announce the tremendous success of our second annual Winter Night Market, held on December 5th, 4pm-7pm in the Otter Student Union Ballroom and Inter-Garrison Plaza. This vibrant event attracted over 700 attendees, celebrating an evening of community, creativity, and collaboration.

With about 34 vendors set up inside the Otter Student Union Ballroom and outside in Inter-Garrison Plaza, the market provided an excellent opportunity for Monterey Tri-County vendors to sell their products. CSUMB students also embraced the entrepreneurial spirit, selling items they crafted in the classroom, during their free time or representing a club or organization. Some students utilized this platform to gather feedback and conduct surveys for their budding businesses. The collaborative nature of the event was further highlighted by the participation of the CSUMB MPA340 Class, who performed music alongside Glenn Bell, creating a festive holiday atmosphere that delighted all attendees.

The success of the Winter Night Market was evident as most vendors sold out of their products. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, Monterey County Business and the Central Coast Small Business Development Center, for their support through the Building Business Back initiative.

We deeply appreciate everyone who attended and supported this event. Special thanks go to our partners: Monterey County Business, Glenn Bell, CSUMB’s Associated Students, Music Department, and Entrepreneurship Club.
